You want to finish more poems
& send them out
& yet . . .

If you're honest,
you could use some structure & support
while you re-engage with your work in progress.
Some friendly guidance as you gather
your unfinished drafts,
treat them like they matter,
& complete a small group of poems to send out.

Spring Session:
April 19-May 3, 2019
with Holly Wren Spaulding

Tuition: $175
Early Bird: $150 (until March 31)

This course employs a series of enjoyable exercises, helpful readings, and instructive videos to help you advance your work in progress. Every three days receive a short lesson, give it 30 minutes (or more!) of your attention, and watch your drafts evolve, resolve, and come alive. We'll also meet twice for interactive workshops, via web video.

Expect to leave the course having polished your poems (you decide how many), explored numerous creative revision strategies, learned how to prepare and submit work for publication, and recommitted to the work you care about.

This All Levels course is suitable for anyone who has drafts of unfinished poems that they would like to improve and submit for publication.

Lesson One: Bring in the Harvest
Lesson Two: Principles to Guide the Process
Lesson Three: Expand and Contract
Lesson Four: Resee and Rehear
Lesson Five: Prepare, Submit, Publish
Instructor: Holly Wren Spaulding.

Live workshops on Zoom:
Wednesday, April 24, NOON EST
Wednesday, May 1, NOON EST

* Workshops will be recorded in case you can't participate in real time.

Even if this work is just for you, wouldn't it feel amazing to print out one, or three, or five, or even more poems that you consider *finished* before the next season?

Dust off some of the things you've worked on this year.
Let's bring them to some kind of resolution.

*If you would prefer to send a check, just email poetryforge (at) gmail (dot) com to be added to the class list. I will follow up with an invoice and address where you can mail your tuition.
